Privacy Policy for Game Pulse

Last updated 16 September 2026.

Who we are

Game Pulse is made by Kerf, an independent software studio. Privacy questions and account-deletion requests:

gamepulse@kerf.info

Information we collect

  • Account: email, Google, or Apple sign-in when that is on, plus gamertag, avatar, and tags. That is how the crew finds you.
  • Sessions: nights you host or join — game, roster, scores, standings, and invite codes so people in the room can sit down.
  • Guests: nicknames the host types. No account. No email. They live only on that session.
  • Blocks and reports: stored so we can keep the crew usable. Reports are not public.
  • Purchases: if you unlock Host extras, Google Play or the App Store takes the payment. We remember that Host extras is unlocked so it can restore on a new phone. Kerf never sees card details.
  • Friends and inbox: people you add, and enough to send inbox messages to this phone.

How we use information

We use this to run Game Pulse: sign-in, profiles, friends, nights, crew, inbox, restore of Host extras, and safety (blocks and reports). No ads. We do not sell personal information.

Who we share information with

We share information with these service providers so Game Pulse can run. We do not sell personal information.

  • Google, including Firebase — to handle sign-in, store app data, send inbox notifications, understand nights in aggregate, keep the app genuine, apply remote settings, and fix crashes.
  • Apple — if you sign in with Apple or buy on the App Store.
  • Google Play or the App Store — to process payments.
  • RevenueCat — so Host extras restore on a new phone.

How we protect information

We send this information over a secure connection. It is encrypted on the way.

How long we keep information

Account information stays while the account exists. Session records stay while that night is kept. Guest nicknames stay on that session only. Inbox reach for this phone stays while notifications can still arrive.

How to delete your account

In the app: You → Delete this account. Type your gamertag or DELETE.

Without the app: email us from the address on the account. Include your gamertag and ask to delete the account and associated data. We aim to complete email deletion requests within 30 days.

gamepulse@kerf.info

When an account is deleted, Kerf removes associated data from our systems: login, profile, gamertag, friends, inbox, blocks, reports, crew stats and rivalries, and upcoming hosted nights when we can.

Past nights may still appear in standings with the name Deleted player. That history is kept for the board, not as an active account.

Google Play, the App Store, and RevenueCat may keep their own purchase and billing records. Kerf cannot erase those.

Children

Game Pulse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Permissions

  • Camera — only to scan a friend’s code. No gallery. No photo upload. Avatars are presets.
  • Notifications — so inbox can reach this device.
  • Payments — if you unlock Host extras, the store processes the payment.

Changes to this policy

If Game Pulse changes what we keep or how we use it, we will update this page.
